Dmitry Wild’s new project HOLY WOW releases “Dreamland”

Roaring drum beats and a slick guitar riff are the perfect combo to introduce Dmitry Wild’s (ex-Wizard Sex) HOLY WOW‘s new single, “Dreamland.” Besides playing guitar and singing, this multi-talented singer/songwriter also produced the track! It’s always good to hear the evolution of a songwriter in his songs, specially in this case (in case you don’t know, Mr. Wild is also a 5 Star Author of  “Why Be Normal?” on Amazon). With a prophetic and deep voice he sings about a distant but yet reachable Dreamland through the eyes of a girl.

Guitar-wise, we can hear something between 90’s grunge and contemporary Brit Rock (think of bands like Oasis and Primal Scream meeting Band of Skulls and The Kills) which is really great! The atmospheric synths and deep vocal melodies automatically deliver some post-punk influences to your ears, but HOLY WOW does it with mastery, not sounding too obvious or faux-retro.

HOLY WOW really makes you say:”Wow!” with it’s blend of influences and tones from both past and present, forging the sound of the future and creating a Mystical Garage Rock experience with open synths, driven beats and edgy guitar solos. This is definitely one of the most remarkable singles of the year, so far… Can’t wait to hear more from this band!
